I rolled a blood elf paladin to play with Groovymarlin and I must say that at level 11 I’m bored with combat. Sure, I’m practically invincible with three save-your-ass spells, but offensively I can’t do anything other than right-clicking and sitting back to eat Cheetos and Mountain Dew. Oh, and I have to remember to buff myself every 5 minutes and my Seals last only 30 seconds. When does it get better??

What’s been going on? Not a whole lot. I played WoW with ferocious intensity and reached level 70 with rest state to spare. Then I bought my flying mount and flew straight up to see how high I could go. Pretty damned high – there are clouds up there! I couldn’t go to Blizzcon without being level 70. That’d just be wrong.
I have yet to get the Harry Potter book; CL and AD already finished it even with their slow stop-every-chapter-to-discuss reading style.
MM gets back tomorrow from his 10-day backpacking trip to Glacier park in Montana. Good thing I hit level 70.
