No show

Over the past years I’ve noticed that more and more guys are wearing “no show” socks – socks that are cut so low that you can’t even see them. I think women were wearing these long before men were, but now if you go to the gym you’ll probably see just about everyone wearing them. I think it’s a funny fashion trend because there’s no advertising or selling; you just have to figure it out for yourself. Guys are noticing that nobody else is wearing the knee-high double striped socks from the 80s. For guys, I guess the absence of socks shows off their calves and achilles heels, but that’s not really showing much. After writing this post I realize that I pay way too much attention to people’s footwearing habits.
