Toyota announced that the next generation Prius will be delayed until spring 2009. I’m happy about this. It means they are taking their time to work out the kinks with the new engine and lithium battery. More importantly, it means my 2nd generation Prius won’t be obsolete THAT soon. Who knew cars would become obsolete as quickly as iPods?
I just got a parking ticket in the mail, but the citation is from the East Bay for the car that I sold two months ago. I have to ask the DMV for an official notice of non-ownership and send that back with the citation. WTF!

It’s been awhile (not Staind) since I blogged… AC points this out constantly – otherwise I’d let my Blogger Pro subscription go to waste. Anyway, it’s funny how I feel different in my generic silver Honda Civic. I mean, I see at the very least ONE other 2-door silver Honda Civic every day. Some days, I see up to five or six!! I feel more conformed to society, which is a bad or good thing depending on your viewpoint. I say it’s a good thing. I’m still having a lot of problems going in reverse though. If I let go of the clutch, my poor car will start jerking and bobbing like chittichittibangbang!! Otherwise, the Civic is so easy to drive, I sometimes wonder if I even need to step on the clutch to change gears.
In other news, it’s Friday but it doesn’t feel like one. There are several things on my mind that I should write down before I forget… like calling back my aunt for dinner, remembering to wakeup early on Monday to get my car serviced (I’ll put up a picture of the stupid puncture in the rear bumper), buying tickets online for the Matrix tomorrow morning, cleanup my old apartment before the lease is over, get my ass to the gym at least once this weekend, and it goes on…
